In the last session, I added geranium plants to the flower boxes outside the castle windows. From there, I have been able to draw up the flowers on the plants in pencil and then paint the petals white. This is an underpainting that will give the petals more depth when they are overlayed with hot red!

I’ve also added a close up of the underpainting below. I’m really happy with how they look!

I also drew up the poplar trees on the furthest left panel of the mural and marked them with tape. Here’s the reference image that I used.



These will be finished in a few sessions time. First, I want to finish the gorgeous geraniums! I am really happy with how they add dimension to the full mural. What do you think?
