Unfortunately, mural painting doesn’t always go to plan. Today at Trompe Moongate, I was planning to finish work on the jetty. However, during the week my rain coat broke!
This meant I had to spend my time at the mural today rebuilding the rain coat with a stronger, more lightweight wood. You can see the results in the image below.

Thankfully it was only after the rain coat was repaired that it started to rain, but this too put a stop to my work on the mural. The images below show the current progress of the mural. I’m looking forward to next time when I will hopefully be able to complete the jetty!
